The Colonnade Gallery is located in the landmark apartment building, the Colonnade, designed by the world famous architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. Located in North Newark, New Jersey, the Colonnade Apartment Building is home to a diverse community of over one thousand men women and children.
The mission of the Colonnade Gallery is to present contemporary visual arts. The gallery programs will seek to encourage experimentation through the support and presentation of new works by emerging and established artists. Through exhibitions, outreach, and related educational programming the gallery is dedicated to the cultural enrichment of the community with emphasis on children. The Colonnade Gallery intends to offer collectors and the general public the opportunity to participate in art experiences, to dialogue with the artists, and to purchase fine art works at affordable prices.
